Time is like cake
Love this from my Harvest app
I'm really finding this true right now, you might notice it's a little quiet from me right now.
Just as we were getting back into a rhythm after a family bereavement we were hit with the sudden passing of our family matriarch.
At the moment days are long and full of appointments, phone calls, planning, reminiscing and chasing paperwork!
I'm so grateful I learnt meditation techniques - all those years that I thought it was 'difficult' were actually wonderful preparation for times like now.

Meditation keeps me centred, from that centre I can more clearly see which slice of cake needs attention and make sure I don't end up with just crumbs!
Right now my focus is on family but that doesn't mean I'm not thinking about sharing this calm feeling with others
Over the last 25+years of teaching I've felt so blessed to be able to help others find their centre.
My teaching has developed and changed over the years BUT the relaxation has always been a main part of all that I teach - it's what has kept people coming back 🥰
I've particularly loved sharing Yoga Nidra, the deep relaxation - the one that for years my daughter thought was called Need Yah!
She's not wrong, we do NEED it
Each month on the last Monday we do YiNidra in our session at St Leonard's
45 minutes of Yin poses followed by 40 minutes of Nidra (timings are approximate)
Taking that relaxation further I'm introducing a supper element to the evening
Chance to have a total night off, no need to rush home after relaxation to get your tea. Anyone that needs to get back for family/pets can take their supper home, those that can stay will get to enjoy time with other like minded souls.
This month's supper is a choice of Vegetable lasagne or Beef hotpot and yes there will likely be cake, or cookies 😋
Monday 30th March 6.30pm for YiNidra, supper at 8pm - bring a container to take some home😘
Are you joining us ❓
